I have tried lots of macro lenses for smart phones and this lens is the clearest, sharpest, least distorted one I have found in this price bracket.
Best results for any macro is to get the supplemental lens as close as possible and centred as possible to your camera lens. Focal point and exact magnification will vary depending on the model of your phone but expect to find it in the 3.5 to 4.5cm range.
